Hello fellow deviants. All about me, hum. I'm a real Nevada guy, I've lived here most of my life. I've been taking lessons since I was a kid. I never so much wanted coloring books as a child, but Instead I would ask my mother for coloring books without pictures in them. I just wanted to draw. I drew in class when I wasn't suppose too, but you know;I'm an award winning artist, that started in high school, and then years later studying fine art in college.I love to paint, sculpt, draw and write. I was a traveling musician for years. Painting is my heart.
I've traveled to every state in the US, excluding, Alaska.But, I've seen it on tv,(so it must be real). I've traveled to Southamerica and Central America to help establish homes for orphaned children. Places like Ecuador and Peru.i worked for a tiger rescue in SanAntonio Texas,(all of the cats were rescued from filthy fur mills). Not to brag, but to encourage others to change the world with thier talent. Mercy and giving are in my nature, as I think most of us artists posses. We give to a fault. So,I've been blessed enough to have charitable giving at the center for years.blessed to have wonderful people in my life , that share the same passions.And wonderful artists to discuss my work with. Giving to things that I care for. and making art that I like. Haha.some people don't like it, or don't agree. That's ok. I'm getting better every time I put in the work. I Love my haters.
I am a firm believer that art changes our culture. It moves us in body mind and spirit.Hopefully I find the art that I want to interact with. Conversation can move us forward. Therefore, I believe that art,and conversation is what the worlds needs now.I just know that Art and conversation is the seed of cultural change.. As a result of this theory;
charities like Saint Jude, or Zpie. (Helping foster children that have aged out, and been thrown to the curb, by mostly bar tab foster parents.) have been a few benificiaries of my passion. Right now my focus has been on Multipleschlorosis, the silent killer.A terrible desease, that is so misunderstood , so many young talents face this alone. (Please dm me if you would like to find recourses for ms sufferers, to lend your time and talents too locally) I love making art for social change so much, that it has consumed the last twenty years or so.
When you mix mash your passions,thats what happens. if your passionate about something there is no end to your inspiration, no end to your energies. Don't underestimate the power of your passions, they can destroy you, but they can take you anywhere. Esspecially when your heart is in the right place.My motto, Don't forget to love your haters and lovey yourself too. Just keep doing your thing, they can't help but notice.
